CyberLink PowerDirector v12 Rendering Issue Fix
Some Cyberlink PowerDirector v12 users are experiencing issues using PowerDirector v12 because of an incompatibility issue with NVIDIA GeForce driver.

When I received the CD for Cyberlink's PowerDirector v12 I was unable to use it because of an incompatibility issue with NVIDIA GeForce. After I installed the patch from Cyberlink the slow rendering issue was fully resolved.
After a search of Cyberlink's site I found their latest update dated March 18, 2014 which resolved the issue I was having.
CyberLink Customer Service says:

Thanks for posting about this issue. We are aware of it and it has been addressed by both the driver manufacturer and CyberLink. It should no longer be an issue if all the latest drivers and PowerDirector patch updates are installed.
