Azure Public IP addresses are resources in Azure that allow Azure services and virtual machines (VMs) to be reachable over the internet. These IP addresses are assigned to resources like VMs, load balancers, or application gateways, enabling inbound and outbound traffic to and from the public internet. Azure provides two types of public IP addresses:

Dynamic Public IP: Assigned dynamically, meaning it changes when a resource is stopped and restarted.
Static Public IP: A fixed IP address that remains constant throughout the lifecycle of the resource.
Public IPs in Azure can either be IPv4 or IPv6, and they can be associated with various services to facilitate external communication. You can also control the traffic using network security groups (NSGs) and apply routing rules for better security and performance.
