Virtual IoT | Introducing Zulu Embedded and running Java on Intel® Edison and Galileo
Zulu Embedded is fully certified, 100% open source Java SE platform based on OpenJDK for embedded devices, M2M, and IoT. Java’s growth in the embedded and IoT space has been limited by licensing and distribution restrictions. Since Zulu Embedded is based on 100% open source, all the costs associated with traditional Java licensing are eliminated. This session provides an introduction to Zulu Embedded and explains its features and benefits. Also included are walk-through and short demo on installing and running Zulu Embedded on the Intel® Edison and Galileo boards.
