My top tip for you would be set up the conversion properly. Make sure that the conversion tracking is set up properly. Know your customer lifetime value or your acquisition cost so that you can see whether you are making a profit or a loss. At a price which you are paying Google for those conversions.

So those two is where I will for sure start with. And if you are running this for your client then you need to educate them as well. To or manage their expectations I should say. Don't expect things to work from day one or day two yes you may get conversions from day one day two and so on but you probably will get them at an expensive price because the campaigns and the account hasn't been optimized as time goes by you start optimizing your lead cost or your ROAS is going to go up or lead cost is going to go down so manage the expectations and let Google do its thing because this is where most people go wrong.

They switch off after 30 days or less. Saying Google is a scam, it doesn't work, it's eaten up on my cash and so on. And my last tip would be spend the budget which you are happy to lose. Don't lose too much so that you can't pay your bills and so on and you are struggling allocate a budget and say this is my testing budget you need to you are buying artificial intelligence the data from Google get the data and if it doesn't work you will know why it didn't work the keywords were wrong or the offer wasn't good the landing page sucked then you start again and try to improve from the previous campaign.
