Move Taskbar to top on Windows 11
To move the taskbar to the top on Windows 11, open the Settings app and go to Personalization - Taskbar.
Under the Taskbar location section, select Top from the drop-down menu.
Move Taskbar to top on Windows 10
Windows 10 also has a dedicated setting to move the taskbar to the top of the screen.
To do that, open the Settings app and go to Personalization - Taskbar.
Under the Taskbar location section, select Top from the drop-down menu.
Move Taskbar to top on Windows 8 and 8.1
Windows 8 and 8.1 don’t have a dedicated option to move the taskbar to the top of the screen. Instead, they let you position the taskbar on any side of the screen.
To move the taskbar to the top on Windows 8 and 8.1, open the Settings app and go to Personalization - Taskbar.
