Change your Display Resolution in Ubuntu (and other Linux distros)
By default, your screen resolution on Ubuntu or other Linux distros should automatically switch to that of your monitor. But if this doesn't happen, or you manually want to change your resolution for whatever reason, then it's important to know how you can change it from within the OS.
