According to an exchange filing, Ekagrah now holds a significant stake in Infosys, with ownership of 15,00,000 shares, constituting a 0.04 percent ownership in the company. The transaction, conducted "off-market," marks a historic moment in the realm of generational wealth transfer.
As a result of this remarkable gift, Mr. Murthy's personal holding in Infosys has slightly decreased, from 0.40 percent to 0.36 percent, equivalent to 1.51 crore shares. However, the true significance lies in the legacy being forged for Ekagrah, who stands to inherit a substantial fortune from his illustrious grandfather.
Born in November 2023 to proud parents Rohan Murthy and Aparna Krishnan, Ekagrah is the third grandchild of Narayana and Sudha Murty. Their family tree extends to include two daughters of Akshata Murty and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, adding to the dynasty of success and prosperity.
