Infinite Scroll Effect in Wix

In this video, we will guide you through the process of creating an infinite scroll effect on your Wix website. Infinite scroll allows your visitors to keep scrolling and loading new content without ever reaching the end of your page, creating a seamless and engaging browsing experience.
We will start by showing you how to set up a repeater, a powerful Wix feature that allows you to display multiple instances of a layout element, such as images or text, and populate them with dynamic data. Then, we will walk you through the steps to connect your repeater to a database collection, which will provide the data for your infinite scroll.
To detect when the user is close to the end of the current page of data, we will use Wix's onViewportEnter event. This event fires when an element enters the viewport, allowing us to trigger the loading of the next page of data using the datasets loadMore function.
