Maja Ma movie review by Sucharita Tyagi - Maja Ma, which I realized after watching perhaps is wordplay, asks the question, hum zindagi ke kis point par aakr reaise karte hainki hamaare maa-baap ki kabhi hamaari tarah jawan they, jab unke paas saare jawaab nahi they, jab khud duniiya ko explore karne nikle they, kaun tha unke saath, kisne unko support kiya? Whatever age this empathy arrives in your life and in whatever measure, you will still never be able to fully understand that journey. Maja Ma tries, but unfortunately does not succeed beyond the cursory, and dare I say the little success it HAS in generating catharsis ONLY comes from Madhuri Dixit’s ability to emote deep emotions without having an emotional yell-y breakdown on screen.
