LEARNING OBJECTIVES
•Identify input devices and their uses, e.g. keyboard, numeric keypad.
•Identify output devices and their uses, e.g. CRT monitor, speakers.
•Describe the advantages and disadvantages of any of the above devices.
2.1 Input devices and their uses
•These are hardware devices that allow data to be input into a computer.
2.1.1 KEYBOARDS,
•Keyboards are used to input text, numbers and instructions into the computer.
•General Layout is QWERTY which is on the top row.
